Borderless Labs Inc (Blinc) is pleased to announce the recipients of our scholarship program aimed at recognizing exceptional professionals in the STEAM and human spaceflight fields who demonstrate a selfless commitment in inspiring their communities. We are honored to offer SALAM ABUALHAYJAA and Montaser Sallam the opportunity to embark on a journey of inspiration and responsibility by joining the Citizen Scientist Astronaut class offered by the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS)

As part of the scholarship, Salam and Montaser, both Jordanian nationals, will undergo human spaceflight training with IIAS, gain valuable experience in flying aircraft, systems engineering for human spaceflight and receive training from esteemed space industry professionals. We are confident that this unique opportunity will enable them to further their professional development while inspiring future generations in their community to pursue careers in STEAM and human spaceflight.
This announcement follows Blinc's award of the same scholarship to Asma Akhter from Bangladesh and David F Guajardo from Mexico in 2022. Inspired by IIAS’s Space for all Nations Initiative, Blinc's team hopes to continue its outreach efforts for underserved communities and in underserved languages.
